By Abdulrahman Aliagan

In the heart of Kwara state and Nigeria, there is an emerging political figure that has captured the attention of many. Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, The President and Chief Executive Officer of Funab Group of Companies  – a name that evokes admiration, respect, and awe. He is a beautiful bride who has won the hearts of the people of Kwara State, particularly in Asa/Ilorin-West federal Constituency with his political riveting factors, just like the late Kwara political kingpin Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki of the blessed memory.

Ajia is a security expert turned politician who within a very short time has come to epitomise success in Kwara’s political landscape. He is a man who embodies all that is good about a politician. He is a philanthropist who has helped many in the community. His charitable work has touched the lives of countless people, and his generosity has earned him a soft spot in the hearts of the masses.

Ajia has been supporting his countrymen by creating jobs and empowering local entrepreneurs to become successful business owners through his interventionist organization known as MAI Foundation. The organization that is seeing to the plights of the less privileged in society, providing support to orphans and widows, as well as children who cannot afford to go to school.

Through MAI Foundation, Ajia has been a source of hope to the hopeless, offering assistance to those in need. He has empowered many youths in his community by providing them with vocational training and educational opportunities, which have helped them to become successful entrepreneurs in their own right.

In 2019, owing to several calls and persuasions, encouraging the young Mulah to come and serve his community in an official capacity, Ajia succumbed to those pressures and offered himself to serve his people first, as the governor of Kwara state but the political atmosphere was not cool for him at that time, for the love of his people, he subsequently settled to serve at the Federal House of Representatives in the just concluded 2023 general elections.

Ajia is known for his integrity, credibility, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people, he was denied his rightful political seat as a representative of his people due to the electoral fraud that plagued the 2023 general elections in the state. For his religious understanding that God gives power to whom He wishes, he took it as an act of God and he voluntarily withdrew from legal tussle, he instituted. Despite the ugly experience, Ajia continues to be a shining light and an inspiration to the people of the state.

While serving as a Police officer, he used his positions at different points in time to influence jobs for Kwarans and Nigerians in general anywhere he had the opportunity. Many people have attested to this fact, even both in his absence and presence. His success has inspired a new generation of youths who are looking up to him as a role model.

Ajia, the beautiful bride who grew up in his community has also taken the time to understand the needs of his constituency; this has informed his decision to serve his community in official capacity to really affect them positively via credible representation at the National Assembly.  His commitment in intervening in the lives of his people has earned the trust and respect of his people. His political riveting factors have brought hope and optimism to Kwara State. Ajia clearly demonstrated his love for his people during the 2023 elections campaign as he lightened so many communities with solar light, graded several community roads, empowered youth, women and students with several interventions.

A former police officer who had loved to translate his wealth of experience in the area of security into meaningful contributions to the federal government’s efforts to tackle insecurity in the country was cut-short as a result of the muddy and systemic political charades that characterised the 2023 general election in the state.

Ajia who has demonstrated a clear understanding of the security challenges facing Nigeria and his plans “My Offer to Serve” to tackle these issues are well thought out and efficient. He has developed a strategic and robust mechanism that will fit into a sustainable development solution to Nigeria teething security challenges.

Despite being denied the opportunity to represent his people, Alhaji Ajia continues to be a beacon of hope for Kwarans, his life has continued to serve as an inspiration to many, and his contributions to his community will always be remembered.

His unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people, coupled with his experience and know-how in business and security, make him an excellent candidate for any political office.

Ajia’s impact has been profound. He embodies the best qualities of a politician, philanthropist, security expert, and successful businessman. He has won the hearts of the people of Kwara State, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come. He is a leader that the people can count on, a beautiful bride that will always be adored.

Undoubtedly, Ajia is a political icon who has carved a niche for himself in Kwara’s political landscape. His ability to connect with the people at the grassroots level, building a strong political structure under the political tutelage of Dr Bukola Saraki makes him a key player in Kwara and Nigeria’s politics.

Ajia’s political influence in Kwara state is still very much intact, and it is most likely that he will continue to play a significant role in the politics of the country for many years to come.

It is only a matter of time, Ajia stands a very good chance to serve his people in an official capacity and when that time comes, he will undoubtedly make his people proud.

Today the 15th of September marked the birth of a great and promising political leader, on this special day and for the love of his country and its people, Ajia dedicated his  44th birthday to offer prayers to the nation’s leaders and also send goodwill messages to the people. Ajia prayed to God to guide Nigeria’s leaders aright, asking God to bring a divine succor that will ameliorate the sufferings of Nigerians. He prayed to God to help Nigeria’s leaders to govern with wisdom and integrity, so that they can work for the betterment of all citizens. Ajia also prayed for an end to corruption and violence in Nigeria as well as to overcome other challenges that stand on our way to greatness.

He however calls on the government to pursue policies and programmes that will foster economic growth and development in the country. As an insight into his wishes for Nigeria, he advised the government on better policy that will have a direct and positive impact on Nigerians.

According to the Ilorin born-politician, “It is essential for the government to implement policies that will create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive, provide jobs and establish social safety nets that will cushion the effects of economic hardship on the masses.

Ajia urges Nigeria on the path of progress and prosperity not the path that will plug the country into further hardship and chaos. He emphasised the need for the government to prioritise the welfare of the citizens, noting that if the government implements policies that prioritise the welfare of the masses and encourages entrepreneurship, it will provide the needed impetus for economic growth, job creation, and poverty reduction. This he said in a press statement issued by his Spokesperson.

As we celebrate the life of a man who has made a tremendous impact on the lives of many through his leadership. Ajia believes in the power of service to the people. He is someone who is always willing to go the extra mile to bring about positive change in the lives of those around him.

On this special day, I joined the many others in celebrating the life of this great leader, appreciating him for his selfless service to his people, your unwavering commitment to promoting peace and unity, and your determination to make a significant impact in his community.

As you celebrate your birthday, we pray that God grants you long life, good health, and continued success in all your endeavors. Thank you for being an inspiration to us all. Happy Birthday!
