A former Nigerian senator, Adamu Bulkachuwa, who confessed to influencing his retired Appeal Court justice wife’s decisions, has approached the court to stop his possible investigation and arrest. Mr Bulkachuwa filed the suit at the Federal High Court in Abuja after receiving an ICPC invitation and three days before he was expected to appear before the investigative team of the anti-corruption agency. A committee set up by the Anambra state government headed by Professor Nkemdili Nnonyeli has confirmed that  Miss Mmesoma forged the score of 362 as earlier claimed by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). The eight-member panel set up by Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State to investigate the controversies surrounding the results claimed by a candidate in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), Mmesoma Ejikeme, has submitted its report. Fitch Ratings says it foresees an upgrade of ENG’s National Ratings which would result from strengthening its creditworthiness relative to other Nigerian issuers. The Board of Directors, African Development Bank (AfDB), has approved a loan of 115 million dollars to support a major road rehabilitation project in Abia State, Nigeria. This is contained in a statement issued by the Nigeria Country Department of the bank in Abuja.
