Ramadan: Muslims Should Engage in Special Deeds for Rewards from Allah  – Kwara Coord. IWF, Hon. Sabi Advises

The Coordinator of the Islamic Welfare Foundation (IWF) in Kwara state, Honorable Is’hak Mohammed Sabi, has called on all Muslims to participate in special deeds that will earn them rewards from Almighty Allah in both this world and the hereafter.

Hon. Sabi, a former Commissioner for Information in Kwara State, made this known in an interview after the Tafsir Qur’an program organized by the Foundation held at its secretariat, Owoniboys,Ibrahim Taiwo, Ilorin.

He emphasized the importance of taking extraordinary actions to draw closer to Allah and stand out as His beloved among other believers.

“ Every Muslim should strive to do something out of the ordinary, something special for himself or herself that will make them to receive mercy the of Allah.”

He encouraged Muslims to go beyond their regular religious obligations such as prayers, Zakat, Fasting, and Hajj, by doing something unique that will set them apart positively on the Day of Judgment.

” Muslim should think. What is that thing, that you can do, that others have not done before which will stand for you before Allah. That will be on record that Allah will say yes you have done something extra for the sake of Allah and Islam. ”

Additionally, Hon. Sabi urged Muslims to offer sacrifices of their life, knowledge, and wealth to Allah for the sake of Islam.

“Dedicate everything that Allah gave you to the course of Allah ”

He invited Muslims in Kwara state to attend IWF Tafsir li-Qur’an programs to enhance their knowledge of Islam and receive guidance from Islamic scholars.

Hon. Sabi highlighted the importance of learning and applying the teachings of the Quran in everyday life.

“Tafsir is not just a recitation of Qur’an, but to explain the recitation of the Qur’an. It is meaning behind every aspect, every verse of the Quran, every chapter of the Qur’an. Every word of the Qur’an. When you get the knowledge, it’s only then you can apply it in everyday life. That’s why Islamic Welfare Foundation created this platform.

“I want to use this opportunity to call Muslim all around the state to come together, to share, to drink from the pool of knowledge. As it’s always delivered by our chief Missioners. Shaikh Dr. Yusuf kolawole Jumu’a. The shaikh is one of the first line students of shaikh Adam Abdullah Al-Alory.”

Hon. Sabi said further that, all personalities in IWF are all Professionals and the platform provide opportunities to Professionals, to dedicated class to contribute to the development of Islam and enhance their understanding of the faith.

The guest lecturer, Shaikh Yusuf Kolawole Jumu’a, stressed the importance of rededicating oneself to God, fearing God, and observing the five daily prayers diligently.

He also emphasized the significance of solat as a distinguishing factor between Muslims and Non-Muslims.

The IWF’s dedicated class includes prominent individuals such as the Vice Chancellor, University of Ilorin, Professor Abdulwahab Egbewole,( SAN), Proprietor of Alpha Dental Clinic, Dr Kale Jaye, CMD Olarewaju Hospital, Dr Olarewaju, JAMB registrar, Professor Is’haq Oloyede.

Others are: Professor Yusuf Ola Olu Ali, (SAN), Engineer Abu Salami, Engineer Sanusi, Proprietor Iqra College, Dr.Aliu Badmus,Dr. Bashir Oyeyemi, Prof. Salami, Prof. Lateef Usman, Prof. Lateef Oladimeji, Lawyer K.K. Eleja (SAN), Prof. Suleiman Salami,Prof Akande Abdulrazaq,Prof. Husein Oloyede,New Generation Members among others.
