In a meeting held at the Gombe State Governor’s lodge in Abuja, Thursday, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya warmly welcomed the National President of the Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB), Bldr Sir Alderton Ewa Ewa.
Accompanied by the 2nd National Vice President, Bldr Idris Sadiq Abubakar, and the National Secretary, Bldr Mahmood Yusuf, the NIOB President praised Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s unwavering dedication to advancing infrastructure and fostering industrial growth in Gombe State.
During the encounter, Sir Ewa Ewa conveyed the NIOB family’s congratulations to Governor Inuwa Yahaya on his recent re-election for a second term, the national honor award of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON), and his appointment as the Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum. These accolades, according to Sir Ewa Ewa, underscore the Governor’s growing influence and leadership not only within the region but also across the nation.
The NIOB President also expressed gratitude for the Governor’s recognition of talent within the institute, particularly in the appointment of their National Secretary, Bldr Dr. Mahmud Yusuf, as the Director-General of the Gombe State Joint Project Development Agency. This move was applauded as a testament to Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s foresight in engaging and promoting skilled individuals.
In response, Governor Inuwa Yahaya extended his appreciation for the visit and reiterated his administration’s commitment to fostering a lasting partnership with the Nigerian Institute of Building.
He emphasized the shared goal of promoting robust infrastructural development and creating a conducive environment for growth in Gombe State.
