The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for Kwara Central Senatorial districts, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi has congratulated the elder statesman who doubles as Tafida of Ilorin, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje on the occasion of his 72nd birthday Anniversary.

In a statement he (Bolaji Abdullahi) personally signed on Friday and made available to newsmen in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

According to the former Minister of Youths and Sports Development,  “I join numerous well wishers across Kwara and beyond to felicitate with Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje, a man of noble birth, a politician of repute, one with a vast wealth of experience, on this auspicious occasion of his 72nd birthday.

“A respected and respectable elder statesman, Alhaji Baraje (CON), as a former National Chairman of our great party, the PDP, contributed immensely towards deepening the ideals of the party. He has made valuable contributions towards entrenching democracy and party politics as one of the frontline party leaders ever in the history of our politics.

“Also, as the Tafida of Ilorin, Alhaji Baraje is a man rich in the knowledge of the tradition and values of our people. As a frontline ambassador of our community, Tafida has promoted Ilorin Emirate, both nationally and the global stage.”

The Senator hopeful thereby prayed “As we join him in celebration today, it is my prayers that Almighty Allah (SWT) will bless Alhaji Baraje with longer life and even greater accomplishments. I pray God to bless him with good health and wisdom to continue in the service of our people and country; and to sustain his impacts on humanity.” He concludes.
