Tinubu Is In The UK To Rest – APC chieftain

The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council member, Ayo Oyalowo, said the party’s presidential flagbearer Bola Tinubu is in the United Kingdom (UK) to rest ahead of the campaign.

Oyalowo disclosed this during his appearance on Channels Television while dismissing rumours that the APC presidential candidate is stuck in a hospital in the UK.

He explained that Tinubu went to Uk to rest because the pressure was too much and he, therefore, needed a few days off to rest.

“The man (Tinubu), like I said, needed a few days off because the pressure on him is a bit too much and he needed to rest because the campaign is pretty long – we have about four, five months to campaign before the general election,” Oyalowo said on Monday

“So, he needs to ensure that he is not worn out by the show of love, and camaraderie – too many people coming to see him. So, yes, he needed to take that breather.”

Tinubu took to his verified social media handles and shared a seven-second video showing him on a treadmill on Sunday.

APC presidential flagbearer said; “Many have said, I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am ready to serve Nigerians from day one. He is healthy and ready to serve Nigerians.”

Oyalowo reacting to Tinubu’s video described him as the “main factor” compared to the presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, who also dropped a short video to show off his youthfulness on Twitter.

He said: “Two people dropped videos yesterday. Another person (referring to Atiku) dropped a dancing video but nobody is talking about it because he is not a factor. Asiwaju is a factor,”

“He(Tinubu) will always be spoken about because he matters. He is the main factor in this election.”
